Fishing Details We have an exclusive charter boat limited only to our party. Max of 35 individuals between our two Chapters. The cost is $160 per fisherman, including rod/reel rental, bait/tackle, fishing license, fuel, tips to captain/mates. It does not include fish cleaning, food or beverage aboard, or hotel accommodations (more on that below). This is a full day trip (6am departure, approx. 4pm return to dock), leaving out of the Fort Adams docks (plenty of parking, on-site). We will be fishing for sea bass, scup, and tautog. There is no food or beverage available on the boat, so please plan to pack a lunch and cooler with drinks. The boat allows for limited alcoholic beverages (beer/wine/seltzers) to be brought onboard, but will not allow any hard alcohol onboard.
A $100 deposit per fisherman is required to hold your spot. Please coordinate that with me directly. This is a fully pass-through event (Chapters are making no money on this).
Chapter Meet & Greet We’re going to be holding a Chapter Meet & Greet on Saturday, September 21, at Chelo’s Waterside in Warwick, RI (1 Masthead Rd, Warwick), beginning at 6pm. This will be on individual tabs and include both our Chapter and the New England Foundation.
Overnight Accommodations Many of us staying overnight prior to fishing Sunday are staying at SpringHill Suites Providence West Warwick: Spacious studio suites in Providence (marriott.com). Rates in Newport were quite high still. It’s about a 9 minute drive from the restaurant and about a 45 minute drive to the dock Sunday morning.
